Model #5388 – 2000 Gallon Fuel Tankers

  • Built for FEMA Disaster Relief in Puerto Rico

A major part of the disaster relief is providing the means to transport fuel to machinery used in the clean-up efforts.  Elliott Machine Works manufactured the fuel tankers and completed the installation on new 2018 model Ford F750 chassis.  Each truck carries between 2000 and 2500 gallons of diesel fuel and carries a 50 foot long hose reel that dispenses around 35 gallons of fuel per minute.  The heavy duty tank, designed and built in house, is vital for surviving the rugged terrain the trucks are about to encounter.
